Job summary

Lawrence Hall in Chicago seeks a Site Coordinator for its Transitional Living Program. Lead a multi-unit residential site, supervise staff, and guide youth toward independent living with trauma-informed practices.

You will coordinate life skills, education, and community engagement programs, while ensuring safety, compliance, and ongoing staff development. This full-time role requires 24/7 on-call rotation and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 25 years of age.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of three years of experience in residential, transitional living, or youth services programs.
• Valid Illinois driver's license.
• Personal vehicle or access to a vehicle and proof of automobile insurance.
• Ability to successfully complete required background checks and drug screenings.
• No history of child abuse or neglect.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of a multi-unit transitional living site, ensuring safety, compliance, and effective program implementation.
• Supervise, coach, and support staff through training, performance feedback, crisis response, and ongoing professional development.
• Help youth build independent living skills, including budgeting, employment readiness, educational planning, household management, and community engagement.
• Coordinate life-skills, educational, recreational, and supportive programming that promotes youth success and self-sufficiency.
• Support crisis intervention efforts using trauma-informed and Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) practices while participating in 24/7 on-call coverage.
• Build and maintain relationships with community partners, employers, landlords, and service providers to support youth stability and successful outcomes.
