Lawrence Hall in Chicago operates a 24-hour residential Child & Family Treatment Center focusing on trauma-informed care for youths 8–18. The Youth Treatment Specialist role emphasizes supervision, life-skill coaching, and treatment support within a structured setting.

The position requires a HS Diploma or GED, 0–1 year of related experience, a valid IL driver’s license, and the ability to complete background checks and screenings. Multiple shifts onsite and extensive benefits are offered.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Zero to one year of related experience.
• Valid Illinois driver's license.
• Background checks and drug screenings required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct supervision and maintain a safe, structured environment for youth in residential treatment.
• Implement individualized treatment plans and support youth in developing emotional regulation, life skills, and healthy coping strategies.
• Facilitate or co-facilitate psychoeducational, recreational, and life skills programming.
• Model positive communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
• Support youth with daily routines, transportation, appointments, meals, hygiene, and recreational activities.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation to ensure compliance with Medicaid, licensing, and agency requirements.
