Lawrence Hall in Chicago seeks an Overnight Youth Treatment Specialist to provide supervision and support for youths in a 24-hour residential program. You will help maintain a safe, therapeutic environment and assist with treatment goals during overnight hours.

The role requires dependability, observant behavior, and a commitment to trauma-informed care for youth aged 8-18. A valid IL driver’s license and background checks are required. This is a full-time onsite overnight position.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Zero to one year of related experience.
• Valid Illinois driver’s license.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to complete required background checks and drug screenings.

• Provide direct supervision and maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment for youth residing in the program.
• Implement individualized treatment strategies and support youth in developing healthy coping and life skills.
• Model positive communication, emotional regulation, and appropriate relationship-building skills.
• Support youth with daily routines, transportation needs, and program expectations when applicable.
• Respond appropriately to behavioral concerns and crisis situations using trauma-informed intervention strategies.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation in accordance with Medicaid, licensing, and agency requirements.
