Wedgwood Christian Services is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead a trauma-informed residential treatment team for adolescent girls (12–17). You will direct care on assigned shifts, coordinate staffing, ensure documentation and programming, and support treatment plans in a safety-focused Sanctuary Model environment.

You will mentor staff, practice de-escalation, and foster healthy communication while transporting residents to activities and coordinating care with the treatment team.

Qualifications

• Age 20 or older.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform physical interventions.
• Ability to bend, twist, and move in a residential setting.
• Alignment with Wedgwood’s Statement of Faith, vision, and values.

Responsabilités

• Provide direction to direct care staff during assigned shifts.
• Coordinate staff assignments to ensure coverage and effective treatment.
• Ensure completion of shift responsibilities including documentation and programming.
• Support and guide staff with individualized treatment plans.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and mentorship to promote staff development and team cohesion.
• Create and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment grounded in the Sanctuary Model.
• Build mentoring relationships with youth using trauma-informed approaches.
• Utilize de-escalation and crisis intervention techniques for behavioral regulation.
• Model healthy communication, problem-solving, and daily living skills.
• Support youth in developing life skills and self-worth.
• Engage in structured recreational and skill-building activities.
• Administer medications as assigned and support wellness routines.
• Transport residents to appointments and activities as needed.
• Document and maintain accurate records per behavioral health standards.
• Adhere to agency policies, procedures, and licensing requirements.
