Wedgwood Christian Services is seeking a Shift Supervisor for our transitional living program in West Michigan. You will lead a trauma-informed residential treatment team for adolescents, ensuring stable daily operations and high-quality care across shifts.

The role emphasizes mentoring youth, coaching staff, and implementing individualized treatment plans within a structured sanctuary model, with a focus on safety and open communication.

Qualifikationen

• Must be at least 20 years old.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and safely perform interventions.
• Ability to bend, twist and move in a residential setting.
• Alignment with Wedgwood’s Statement of Faith, vision, and values.

Aufgaben

• Provide direction to direct care staff during assigned shifts.
• Coordinate staff assignments to ensure coverage and effective treatment support.
• Ensure completion of shift responsibilities, including documentation and medication administration.
• Support and guide staff in implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Provide real-time coaching, feedback, and mentorship to promote staff development.
• Assist with onboarding and training of new staff as assigned.
• Create and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment grounded in the Sanctuary Model.
• Build mentoring relationships with youth using trauma-informed approaches.
• Utilize de-escalation and crisis intervention techniques to support behavioral regulation.
• Document and maintain records in alignment with behavioral health standards.
