Job summary

Wedgwood Christian Services is seeking a Shift Supervisor for VanderArk B Program, a residential treatment team serving girls ages 12–17 with developmental needs. You will lead staff, supervise daily operations, and ensure high-quality care in a trauma-informed setting.

You’ll schedule shifts (1st/2nd) and coordinate programming, documentation, and health needs while supporting safety and therapeutic goals. Eligible candidates bring leadership and compassion to youth-focused care.

Qualifications

• At least 20 years of age and able to pass background checks.
• HS diploma or GED required; driver’s license required; ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in residential settings and follow trauma-informed practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction to direct care staff during assigned shifts.
• Coordinate staff assignments to ensure coverage and supportive treatment.
• Ensure documentation, medication administration, and programming on shift.
• Coach staff to implement individualized treatment plans and trauma-informed care.
• Offer real-time coaching, mentorship, and staff development.
• Assist with onboarding and training of new staff.
• Create a safe, therapeutic environment grounded in Sanctuary Model principles.
• Build mentoring relationships with youth and support life skills development.
• Utilize de-escalation and crisis intervention techniques as needed.
• Transport residents to appointments and coordinate health needs.
