Job summary

Prudence Crandall Center Inc. in Bristol, CT seeks a Shelter Case Manager to provide client-centered, trauma-informed support to survivors of domestic violence seeking or receiving emergency shelter.

You will advocate, refer, coordinate services, develop safety plans, maintain files, and collaborate with PCC staff and partners to improve access and safety for shelter clients. Local travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; at least two years' experience in advocacy, counseling, case management, hotline services, and/or residential services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide client-centered, trauma-informed and empowerment-based services.
• Ensure client confidentiality per policy and state law.
• Ensure compliance with funding requirements and PCC policies.
• Collaborate with PCC staff and community providers to address client needs.
• Answer the Emergency Hotline as needed.
• Participate in team meetings and maintain communication with shelter team.
• Develop safety and individual goal plans with clients; maintain files.
