Job summary

The Prudence Crandall Center in Bristol, CT is seeking a Lead Hotline Advocate to support survivors via our 24-hour hotline, delivering trauma-informed care, advocacy, and information and coordinating access to shelter services.

The role includes supervising on-call coverage, delivering client-centered services, maintaining confidentiality, collaborating with shelter staff and community providers, and ensuring compliance with funding and center policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; at least two years' experience in advocacy, counseling, case management, hotline services, and/or residential services preferred.
• Strong preference for bilingual candidates (Spanish & English).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Shared On-Call responsibilities and oversees 24hr hotline coverage.
• Provide services that are client-centered, trauma-informed and empowerment-based.
• Provide support to shelter clients individually, and in a group setting.
• Ensure client confidentiality as outlined by policy.
• Coordinate with shelter staff and community providers to address client needs.
