Job summary

The Prudence Crandall Center seeks a RRH Case Manager to provide rapid rehousing advocacy and case management to survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking. The role emphasizes Housing First, trauma-informed approaches to stabilize housing, rebuild self-esteem, develop life skills, and achieve financial independence.

Responsibilities include intakes, assessments, survivor-centered housing plans, safety planning, and coordination with community partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Two years' experience in client advocacy, counseling, supportive housing or similar setting.
• Bilingual Spanish & English preferred.
• Willingness to navigate housing, health, employment and benefits systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed, survivor-centered, client-focused services.
• Maintain confidentiality per policy and funding requirements.
• Coordinate with PCC staff and partner agencies to address client needs.
• Complete intakes, assessments, and housing eligibility determinations based on HUD/DOH guidelines.
• Develop survivor-centered housing plans with monthly reviews and safety planning.
• Provide home or community visits at least monthly to enrolled survivors.
• Help survivors access income, subsidies, and community services; expand supports.
• Assist with landlord mediation, leasing, and housing navigation.
• Submit rental payment requests for enrolled survivors.
• Assist with protective orders and coordination with law enforcement as needed.
• Arrange transportation for clients and facilitate emergency services when required.
• Participate in program development and quality assurance activities.
