Job summary

Bethany House Services in Reading Road, Cincinnati, OH is hiring a Shelter Case Manager. You will work one-on-one with families in the Emergency Shelter program, providing screening, advocacy, and ongoing case management to secure permanent housing and access to health care and financial assistance.

Responsibilities include maintaining a caseload of 10-15 families, meeting twice weekly, and coordinating services with community resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, education, psychology, sociology, or related field.
• LSW license to practice social work in Ohio is a plus.
• Minimum 1–2 years experience working with families at risk of homelessness is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a caseload of 10-15 families.
• Meet with assigned families a minimum of twice each week.
• Assist participants with resolving barriers to permanent housing and other services.
• Assist participants with determining family needs in employment, education, health, and finances.
• Provide referrals to community resources and coordinate with service providers.
