Job summary

Centerstone is seeking a School-Based Behavioral Health Liaison to provide face-to-face consultation with teachers, develop trauma-informed classroom strategies, and support students at risk for emotional/behavioral disorders. You will conduct psycho-educational groups and coordinate between families and schools, including IEP involvement.

The position emphasizes trauma-informed care, collaboration with school staff, and community-based support across multiple sites in Nashville.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant mental health field required.
• License-eligible in the respective discipline preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide face-to-face consultation with classroom teachers to create a trauma-informed classroom environment.
• Lead at least one face-to-face training per year for LEA personnel on mental health and substance abuse prevention topics.
• Assist in school-wide mental health initiatives and universal prevention strategies.
• Provide liaison services to communicate between school and families and support IEP processes when requested.
• Navigate local behavioral health services and crisis resources for school personnel.
• Maintain logs and documents for grant and organizational reporting.
• Deliver individual and group psychoeducation activities to students and families as needed.
