Job summary

Wedgwood Christian Services seeks a dedicated Shift Supervisor for its Transitional Living Program. You will lead a trauma-informed residential treatment team serving adolescents, ensuring consistent care, documentation, and therapeutic activities on a rotating schedule.

You will mentor staff, coordinate coverage, administer medications as needed, and support health and safety protocols within the Sanctuary Model framework. A dynamic, growth-focused role with holiday pay and solid benefits.

Qualifications

• At least 20 years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to bend, twist and move safely in a residential setting.
• Commitment to Wedgwood’s faith, vision and values.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction to direct care staff during assigned shifts.
• Coordinate staff assignments for appropriate coverage and treatment support.
• Ensure completion of shift responsibilities, including documentation and medication administration.
• Support staff in implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and mentorship to promote team growth.
• Assist with onboarding and training of new staff.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment grounded in the Sanctuary Model.
• Build mentoring relationships with youth using trauma-informed approaches.
• Utilize de-escalation and crisis intervention techniques as needed.
• Document records and ensure compliance with policies and licensing.
