Job summary

Recovery Centers of America is seeking a Recovery Support Specialist to work with patients in behavioral health and substance use services. You will support safety, engagement, and recovery in a structured treatment environment, under supervision of the Recovery Support Supervisor and in collaboration with clinical staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year experience in behavioral health and/or substance use treatment preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient activities and complete shift documentation.
• Provide direct patient care with trauma-informed approaches.
• Assist with patients' daily schedules and activities.
• Assist with de-escalation, crisis intervention and safety procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality and document observations with the treatment team.
