Good News Home Inc. is a nonprofit residential treatment center that empowers women to overcome substance use and co-occurring mental health challenges.

The Residential Support Aide assists in maintaining a therapeutic living environment, supports intake and orientation, and ensures continuity of care under supervision. The role requires empathetic, dependable individuals with strong boundaries who can work across shifts, document daily logs, and report concerns promptly to clinical staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Experience (2+ years preferred) in substance-use treatment, mental health, or related human services.

Responsabilités

• Conduct room checks every two hours to ensure resident safety and program compliance.
• Provide supervision during showering and dressing to support safety and privacy.
• Offer trauma-informed support with a calm, respectful approach for survivors of trauma.
• Monitor activity in private or semi-private areas per safety requirements.
• Provide safe transportation to meetings, church services, medical appointments, and other activities.
