Job summary

GAAMHA is seeking a Recovery Specialist to support residents at Sunrise Ridge, a trauma-informed recovery home for women with substance use and co-occurring disorders. The RS will assist with daily operations, provide coaching, and help residents follow individualized recovery plans.

The role requires experience in residential settings, strong communication, and a valid driver's license. CORI and background checks are required; a lived recovery experience is valued and supported by the team.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential treatment or recovery support settings.
• Ability to transport residents; valid driver’s license.
• Pass CORI and Adam Walsh/Child Protective Services background checks.
• Strong communication and compassion; lived sobriety is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily program support and monitor residents' adherence to recovery plans.
• Oversee medication administration and maintain accurate logs.
• Lead recovery-focused group discussions and document participation.
• Perform wellness checks and headcounts to ensure safety.
• Document shift notes, medication logs, and incident reports.
