Job summary

POWER is a nonprofit organization providing trauma-informed treatment and recovery support for women in early recovery. We seek a Behavioral Health Technician to help maintain a safe, structured residential environment 24/7.

You will monitor client well-being, conduct rounds, assist with group activities, and coordinate with nursing staff to ensure smooth medication flow. Strong communication and crisis-handling skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years' experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, or residential care.
• Driver's license and motor vehicle insurance.
• Clearances: Act 73, 33 and 34.

Responsibilities

• Monitor client behavior, safety, and well-being during shifts.
• Conduct rounds, bed checks, and wellness observations.
• Respond to incidents using trauma-informed approaches.
• Support milieu management and daily routines.
• Engage clients and encourage participation in programs.
• Document interactions and communicate with clinical staff.
