Job summary

Cheshire West and Chester Council is seeking a Lead Child Protection Practitioner to collaborate with multi-agency partners and the Children and Families service to ensure expert safeguarding decisions.

The post holder will provide high support and challenge, supervise readiness for direct practice with children, and contribute to the Families First Partnership Programme with trauma‑informed, systemic approaches.

Qualifications

• Experience in child protection and safeguarding contexts.
• Experience working with multi-agency partners.
• Strong leadership and reflective supervision skills.
