Job summary

Hope and Healing Survivor Resource Center in Akron, OH, is seeking a Housing Case Manager to provide trauma-informed case management and housing stabilization services for survivors experiencing homelessness or fleeing domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, or human trafficking.

You will conduct safety and needs assessments, develop individualized service plans, assist with housing location, and partner with landlords, housing authorities, and community resources to secure safe, stable

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Human Services, or a related field; or a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of HUD-funded housing programs and CoC requirements preferred.
• Experience providing trauma-informed services to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, or human trafficking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with CoC partners to coordinate trauma-informed rapid rehousing and transitional housing services.
• Conduct comprehensive needs assessments, housing inspections, and provide ongoing case management to survivors in securing safe housing.
• Develop individualized housing stability plans with participants and connect to community resources.
