Job summary

BrightSpring Health Services is seeking a Foster Care Case Manager to provide trauma-informed, trauma-informed, youth-centered case management and service coordination for children and families in foster care across multiple locations including Columbus, PHENIX CITY, and surrounding areas.

The role focuses on safety, stability, permanency, and positive outcomes through individualized support, advocacy, and collaboration with schools, treatment teams, and community providers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work, sociology, psychology, counseling, or related human services field.
• Two years' experience working with children and families.
• Five years' experience with a placing agency may substitute for a graduate degree.

Responsibilities

• Deliver case management services, including individual and family counseling and training of foster families.
• Develop and monitor individual treatment plans for children and families in care.
• Maintain weekly contact with foster families, children, and bio-families; monitor progress.
• Prepare written treatment plans and progress reports; conduct home studies and evaluations.

Education
