Job summary

D.A. Blodgett- St. John’s is seeking a Foster Care Case Manager to support children and families within the child welfare system.

The role focuses on ongoing safety, well-being, and permanence for each child through collaboration with families, foster caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams. The position requires flexibility to meet client needs, including evenings or weekends, and involves extensive coordination, report writing, and occasional court appearances to advocate for permanency

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or related Human Services field; Master’s degree is a bonus.
• Strong communication, empathy, and willingness to learn in case management.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle; ability to work nights/weekends.
• Experience in child welfare or related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monthly home visits to foster children, at least once per month.
• Monthly visits with foster parents to support reunification plans.
• Timely written reports and court documentation for judges and attorneys.
• Attend court hearings and provide testimony as required.
