D.A. Blodgett - St. John's, based in Grand Rapids, MI, is seeking a Foster Care Case Manager.

You will work with foster children, parents, and a multidisciplinary team to support safety, well-being, and stability, aiming for permanency through reunification, adoption, or guardianship. The role requires compassion, strong organization, and independent decision-making, with monthly home and parent visits, court reporting, and active participation in court proceedings.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or closely related Human Services field; Master’s degree is a bonus.
• Positive acceptance of supervision to learn and be trained in case management, assessment and treatment skills.
• Commitment to providing excellent child welfare services.
• Child welfare experience is a plus.
• Experience or training in working with children or adults within individual and family counseling, interviewing, family assessment and crisis intervention.
• Valid driver's license, good driving record and adequate insurance with a reliable vehicle always available.
• Understanding and sensitivity to the client's cultural and socioeconomic characteristics.

Responsabilidades

• Monthly home visits with foster children (at least monthly).
• Monthly visits with parents of foster children to support reunification efforts.
• Timely report writing for the court and key readers.
• Court testimony and appearances as required.
