Job summary

The Buckeye Ranch is seeking an Intensive Family Support Counselor/Social Worker to join the Home-Based team in the Newark, OH area. You will provide therapy and support to youth and families facing behavioral and delinquency challenges, conducting assessments and developing family-centered treatment plans.

This is a full-time, hybrid position with a $41,683–$68,000 salary range and a $2,500 bonus. Qualifications include a social work degree, active licensure, and driving eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field; master’s degree preferred.
• Active LPC, LSW, or MFT licensure, or license-exam eligible.
• Active driver's license and proof of auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients for appropriate level of care and risk.
• Identify trauma history and cultural factors impacting treatment.
• Collaborate with admissions and conduct comprehensive assessments.
• Develop training plans and facilitate coaching with family focus.
• Schedule and conduct therapeutic sessions with individuals and families.
• Document progress and maintain timely case notes and reports.
