Job summary

The Buckeye Ranch in Ohio is seeking an Intensive Family Support Counselor/Social Worker to join the Intensive Family Support team. This role provides therapy and support for youth and families facing behavioral and delinquency challenges.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in social work or related field, licensure or eligibility, and a driver’s license. Evening sessions and collaboration with teams are typical, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field required or preferred.
• Master’s degree is preferred for this role.
• Active LPC/LSW/MFT licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Prior counseling/therapy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients for appropriate level of care and risk indicators.
• Identify trauma history, cultural factors, and family strengths.
• Collaborate with admissions and complete diagnostic assessments.
• Schedule and conduct therapy with individuals and families; evenings required.
• Maintain accurate progress notes and discharge planning.
