Job summary

The Buckeye Ranch is seeking a Scholar House Intensive Family Support Counselor/Social Worker to serve families and young adults involved with the Scholar House program at CMHA in Columbus, OH.

Role focuses on delivering trauma-informed, culturally responsive services in home and community; works with schools and partners to coordinate supports and empower families toward safety, stability, and well-being.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Active licensure (LPC, LSW, or MFT) or license-exam eligible.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide community-based mental health services aligned with family-centered, trauma-informed care.
• Deliver services in home and community settings, collaborating with schools and partners.
• Coordinate supports and empower youth and families to achieve safety, stability, and well-being.
• Include youth and families in treatment planning and participate in ongoing training and supervision.
