Job summary

The Buckeye Ranch is seeking an Intensive Family Support Counselor/Social Worker to join the Intensive Family Support team in Ohio. The role provides therapy and support for youth and families facing behavioral challenges, trauma, and risk factors, with services delivered in home-based settings.

Applicants should have a bachelor's degree in social work or related field, with a master’s preferred, and an active LPC/LSW/MFT license or license eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work or related field required or preferred.
• Master's degree in social work preferred.
• Active LPC/LSW/MFT licensure or license eligibility required.
• Active driver's license and auto insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients for appropriate level of care with behavioral indicators.
• Identify trauma, adversity, and environmental factors affecting care.
• Develop training plans and facilitate coaching for families.
• Schedule and conduct therapy sessions with individuals and families.
• Document progress and communicate changes to stakeholders.
• Respond to behavioral health crises with appropriate interventions.

Education

Bachelor's degree in social work or related field

Master's degree (preferred)

Active LPC/LSW/MFT licensure

License exam eligible
