Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, education, or related field.
• Experience: At least one year working with individuals with emotional, intellectual, or developmental disabilities.
• PMT, CPR, First Aid, and Positive Behavioral Support certifications preferred.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care and ASD/IDD behavior management.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate transitions between residential programs, academies, and job sites.
• Provide one-on-one and small group academic assistance.
• Implement behavioral intervention plans and monitor progress.
• Assist with IEPs and vocational training plans.
• Provide crisis intervention using PMT techniques.
• Attend PPT meetings and team discussions.
• Maintain accurate records in the EHR system.
• Transport individuals to interviews, placements, and sites.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Support students with daily living activities and skill development.
