Job summary

Jericho Project in the Melrose Bronx is seeking a Clinical Therapist (LCSW or similar) to provide ongoing counseling for our Melrose program. The clinician will work with Jericho support staff to assist participants who are formerly homeless, across families, youth, and adults, within a housing-first framework.

Qualifications

• LCSW or similar licensure required.
• At least three years’ experience with victims of trauma in homelessness, substance use, or psychiatric illness.
• Experience with diverse populations; strong written and verbal skills.
• Training in evidence-based practices (CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing).

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical assessments and document treatment plans and progress notes.
• Provide counseling and interventions tailored to participants’ needs.
• Facilitate groups and collaborate with interdisciplinary team.
• Coordinate with case managers and psychiatric providers as needed.
• Offer in-services and participate in supervision and trainings.
