Job summary

Central City Concern is seeking a Client Access Specialist I to greet patients, collect demographics and payments, verify insurance, and schedule appointments across multiple clinics. The role supports a trauma-informed, inclusive environment and requires discreet, tactful communication with patients and staff.

Preferred Spanish bilingual skills and CPR certification; experience in a clinical setting is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1 year of medical office/administrative support experience, or 2 years in a high-volume public contact role.
• Experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
• CPR certification required prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a welcoming manner.
• Enter initial demographics and schedule appointments across providers.
• Verify insurance and collect payments/co-pays.
• Coordinate interpretation services for appointments.
• Support trauma-informed, client-centered care and privacy compliance.
• Provide backup support for contact center and routing inquiries.
