Job summary

Thompson is seeking a Case Manager in Nashville to deliver dependency case management for youths and families involved with child welfare. You will coordinate services, engage kin networks, and prepare court documents, with responsibilities including testimony when required and community-based encounters with youth and families.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least one year of relevant experience, plus a driving license and the ability to pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Experience equivalent to one (1) year of full-time professional work providing child welfare services.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must pass a drug screen and all required background checks including fingerprinting.

Responsibilities

• Provide dependency case management services to families with verified abuse history in out-of-home care.
• Engage kin and fictive kin adults to increase protective capacities and secure stable homes.
• Manage crisis, link youth/caregivers to service providers, and complete court reports.
• Testify in court and conduct face-to-face engagements with youth and families in the community.
• Work hours vary with client need and include an on-call schedule for nights and weekends.
