Job summary

Urban Resource Institute (URI) is seeking a Case Manager for the Innovative Urban Village program in New York City. You will provide trauma-informed, culturally responsive services to families in supportive housing, including assessments, counseling, and coordinated referrals.

The role emphasizes safety planning, crisis intervention, and collaboration with Housing Specialists to promote long-term housing stability and independence for survivors of domestic violence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Sociology or related field is required or preferred.
• Master's degree is preferred for advanced case management roles.
• Minimum experience in case management or direct service is expected.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intakes and biopsychosocial assessments for residents.
• Provide trauma-informed counseling and crisis intervention.
• Develop individualized service plans and coordinate referrals.
• Support housing stability and tenancy through advocacy and education.
• Maintain documentation in CAPS/HMIS and participate in audits.
• Collaborate with housing specialists, clinicians, and partners.
