Job summary

Acuity International seeks a Caregiver Supervisor to provide compassionate, trauma-informed care in government processing facilities. You will oversee caregivers, ensure daily care, safety and dignity for children and families, and coordinate with government personnel and medical staff.

Requirements include a GED or higher, 2+ years in childcare or related field, and bilingual English/Spanish communication.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum 2 years' experience in childcare or related field.
Experience managing personnel and leading teams.
Training in personal care, hygiene, infection control, and first aid.
Bilingual English/Spanish abilities.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day performance of Caregivers and manage schedules.
Provide trauma-informed, compassionate daily care to children and families.
Assist with activities of daily living and personal hygiene.
Distribute supplies and maintain accountability for issued items.
Document caregiver activities and welfare checks per policy.
Coordinate with government personnel, medical staff, interpreters, and transport teams.
Respond to emergencies following safety and security protocols.
Maintain safe, sanitary living environments and report concerns.
Work rotating shifts including nights and weekends.
