Job summary

Acuity International is seeking a Caregiver Supervisor to provide compassionate, trauma-informed care to families and unaccompanied children within government facilities. You will lead caregivers, ensure safety, dignity, and proper documentation while coordinating with government personnel and medical teams.

The role requires experience in childcare or related human services, strong communication, and the ability to work a 24-hour rotating schedule in a high-stress environment. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish required (written and verbal).
• Experience in trauma-informed caregiving and handling high-stress situations.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills in line with policies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day performance of Caregivers, including schedules and shift changes.
• Provide attentive daily care prioritizing safety, dignity, and well-being.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and basic personal care.
• Distribute/monitor meals, clothing, supplies while tracking issued items.
• Monitor children's well-being and report medical or safety concerns.
• Provide trauma-informed emotional support to distressed individuals.
