Job summary

Rock Hill New Hope Treatment Centers in Butner, NC is seeking a Behavior Support Coach to provide direct care and therapeutic supervision for justice-involved youth with complex mental health needs.

You will implement treatment interventions, reinforce clinical recommendations, and maintain a structured trauma-responsive environment that supports stabilization and successful transition. The role requires collaboration with therapists, nurses, and DJJ staff to ensure consistent care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with adolescents in juvenile justice or behavioral health preferred.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care and crisis intervention.
• CPR/First Aid or equivalent certification preferred or obtainable on hire.

Responsibilities

• Develop therapeutic relationships with youth through engagement, listening, mentoring and role modeling.
• Implement individualized behavior support plans and reinforce therapeutic interventions.
• Teach emotional regulation, problem solving, and healthy decision‑making skills.
• Provide immediate behavioral coaching after incidents to help youth process events.
