The Buckeye Ranch in Columbus, OH is seeking an Assessment Counselor/Social Worker to join our Same Day Access team. You will assess clients, address environmental and family needs, and coordinate referrals to community supports.

Responsibilities include conducting diagnostic assessments, identifying risk of abuse or neglect, collaborating with treatment teams, and providing trauma-informed, client-centered care to youth and families.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work or counseling.
• Active Ohio LSW, LPC, or MFT license.
• Experience as a social worker, counselor, or mental health specialist.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients for appropriate level of care and environmental factors.
• Identify trauma history and risk of abuse or neglect.
• Perform non-billable services as needed while coordinating with collaterals.
