Job summary

Banner Health's ICU-Trauma-Surgical-Hosp unit in Phoenix seeks an ICU Trauma Nurse (RN) for day shifts. The role involves caring for critically ill patients across trauma, surgical, and multi-system cases, with opportunities to participate in a Nursing Clinical Ladder Program and work within a Magnet-recognized academic teaching hospital.

The ideal candidate will bring a current RN license, BLS certification, and clinical experience in acute care.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience in the clinical area for which you are applying is desired.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and discharge planning.
• Formulate and revise the plan of care with input from patient/family and health team.
• Implement and coordinate care with supervision and delegation.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust care accordingly.
• Document care, nursing interventions and patient responses accurately.
