Job summary

Banner University Medical Center- Phoenix is seeking a Trauma Surgical ICU RN to join our team. The role focuses on caring for critically ill patients from trauma, general surgery, cardiac, and other complex conditions. Day shifts run 7:00 am to 7:30 pm with opportunities to use a self-scheduling tool for shifts and weekends.

We value nursing excellence and Magnet recognition. A current Arizona RN license and BLS certification are required; acute care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice or compact license.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications may be required by area of practice.
• Experience in an acute care hospital setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs across physical, psychological, social, spiritual, and educational domains.
• Develop and update care plans with patient/family and health team.
• Provide direct patient care per physician orders and nursing plan of care.
• Coordinate and supervise nursing staff and other personnel; ensure continuity of care.
