Job summary

North American Transportation Management Institute in Honolulu, Hawaii seeks a Transportation Operations Manager to oversee RDC yard activities, manage a team of supervisors and TOAs, and ensure timely inbound and outbound performance. You will coordinate yard service, monitor equipment, and help resolve system issues affecting deliveries.

The role requires high school diploma (Bachelor's preferred), strong leadership, solid computer skills, and the ability to communicate across diverse teams.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in resolving system issues in daily load processing.
• Monitor carrier and system status messages and mitigate impacts.
• Communicate with Directors and Supervisors about shipping activities.
• Coordinate yard services and supervise Transportation staff.
• Ensure accuracy of trailer locations and refrigerated trailer performance.
• Back up TOAs, Leads, and Supervisors when needed.
• Maintain filing system and comply with company policies.
