Job summary

FreshPoint Oahu, Ltd. is seeking a Transportation Manager to supervise RDC yard activities and a team of supervisors and TOAs, ensuring accurate records and timely resolution of system issues impacting inbound/outbound performance.

You will communicate with directors and warehouse teams, manage yard operations, and uphold company policies while maintaining safety and efficiency across the transportation function.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred or equivalent experience.
• Basic knowledge of transportation modes and interstate commerce rules.
• Good knowledge of logistics/transportation operations.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Resolve system issues affecting load processing.
• Monitor carrier and system status messages and mitigate inbound/outbound impacts.
• Communicate daily with Director of Transportation, Claims Coordinator, and Transportation Supervisors about shipping activities.
• Coordinate with warehouse operations teams and RDC carriers to maintain efficient yard operations.
• Oversee yard service operations to ensure trailer locations and temperature controls meet safety standards.
• Provide training and development for Transportation Supervisors, Leads, and TOAs.
