Performance Foodservice in Milwaukee is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to oversee driver performance and training, ensure safe, timely deliveries, and maintain DOT compliance. You will monitor logs, coordinate driver assignments, and manage required paperwork.

Responsibilities include staffing, coaching, monitoring safety practices, and working with management to optimize routes and reduce costs while maintaining high service levels.

Qualifications

• Supervise and train drivers, including staffing, coaching and performance management.
• Ensure safe, efficient, and timely deliveries; monitor DOT logs and driver compliance.
• Maintain driver paperwork and post-trip inspections; manage vehicle maintenance records.

Responsibilities

• Supervise associates on staffing, training, coaching and performance issues.
• Assist Manager with daily transportation operations, payroll, logs and expense reports.
• Ensure safety by monitoring vehicle use, ramps, seat belts, and proper loading practices.
• Track driver information: licenses, tickets, accidents and safety data.
• Handle delivery paperwork: invoices, trip reports, DVIRs, and accident reporting.
• Coordinate maintenance of trucks, tractors and trailers through post-trip reviews.
• Help minimize costs by planning efficient routes.
• Perform other related duties.
