Pitney Bowes in Grand Prairie, TX is hiring a Warehouse Operations Supervisor for our presort facility on 2nd shift, 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM, Monday–Friday with weekends as needed. You will oversee production workers, ensure postal deadlines, and maintain high quality throughout the shift.

Salary range is $60,000 to $65,000 annually plus a 6% field bonus; vacation is not fixed. The role requires supervisory experience and strong Excel/Access skills within a team that delivers postal savings and

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year supervisory experience in a setting applying USPS requirements or regulations (presort, mailroom or related).
• Minimum of two years of progressively responsible experience in a production or mailing industry environment.
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel and/or MS Access with basic MS Word, internet and email.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Organize mail flow on the production floor by assigning workers and assessing volumes to meet deadlines.
• Oversee production workers on the shift; interview, hire, train, appraise performance and address issues.
• Maintain quality control and ensure Total Quality Management processes are followed.
• Assist in completing USPS and internal reports and ensure effective communication between shifts.
• Suggest improvements to equipment use, working conditions and staff motivation.
