Job summary

Performance Food Group in Marshall, MN is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to supervise and train drivers, ensuring safe, efficient, and timely deliveries while monitoring DOT logs and regulatory compliance.

You will coordinate driver paperwork and records, assist with payroll and route planning, and work with the Transportation/Operations Manager to optimize operations and costs. Prior DOT knowledge and fleet management system experience are required.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
• Experience: 2–4 years in transportation or related role with knowledge of DOT and safety regulations
• Experience with computerized fleet management systems

Responsibilities

• Supervise associates including staffing, training, coaching and performance management
• Assist in scheduling deliveries and pickups to ensure timely service
• Monitor driver payroll, driver trip logs, and expense reports; ensure DOT compliance
• Maintain safety by checking vehicle use, safety equipment, and post-trip inspections
• Coordinate tracking of driver information and paperwork including DVIRs and DOT logs
• Work with Transportation/Operations Manager to minimize costs and optimize routes
• Perform other duties as assigned
