Job summary

Performance Food Group seeks a Transportation Supervisor to oversee driver staffing, training, and performance within a fast-paced distribution setting. You will ensure DOT compliance, coordinate deliveries, and contribute to safe, efficient operations across the OpCo fleet.

The role involves supervising associates, maintaining logs, and collaborating with management to optimize routes and reduce costs, while upholding company safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• 2-4 years transportation or related experience with knowledge of DOT and safety regulations; familiar with fleet management systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervises drivers and coordinates staffing, training, and performance management.
• Assists with daily admin of transportation and delivery functions; prepares payroll, trip logs and expense reports.
• Monitors vehicle safety, equipment usage, and safe lifting techniques; attends quarterly safety meetings if required.
• Tracks driver licenses, tickets, accidents, and other safety data.
• Ensures accurate delivery paperwork, invoices, and DVIRs; maintains truck and trailer inspections.
