Job summary

Performance Food Group seeks a Transportation Manager to oversee the transportation function in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. You will manage driver selection, routing, safety, and DOT/OSHA compliance while building strong relationships with drivers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 4-6 years transportation experience with knowledge of DOT regulations.
• Team lead or supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Transportation Supervisor and staff of drivers to ensure safe, efficient deliveries and overall customer satisfaction.
• Oversees day-to-day administration of delivery operations, expenses, payroll, and reports; supports fleet systems usage.
• Prepares annual transportation budget and coordinates financial reporting and cost analyses.
• Works with Warehouse Manager to maximize operation efficiency.
• Schedules deliveries, routes, backhauls, and equipment maintenance; ensures regulatory compliance.
