Performance Food Group seeks a Transportation Supervisor for its driver operations in Elizabeth, NJ. You will supervise and train drivers, ensure safe and timely deliveries, and support DOT compliance.

You will monitor logs, review payroll and expense reports, and coordinate driver information while maintaining safety and efficiency across the fleet. A CDL and supervisory experience are required along with strong MS Office skills.

Qualificações

• 2-4 years transportation or related experience including knowledge of DOT and safety regulations.
• CDL Certified
• Experience in operation of computerized fleet management systems
• Supervisory experience
• Class A CDL certified
• Associates/2-year technical - Business management, logistics or related area
• Microsoft Office Intermediate to Advanced Proficiency

Responsabilidades

• Supervises associates to include staffing, training, coaching, performance management and problem resolution.
• Assists in scheduling and ensuring deliveries and pickups are timely.
• Rides with drivers for training and/or evaluation purposes.
• Assists Transportation/Operations Manager with day-to-day administration, payroll, driver logs, expense reports, and DOT/OpCo compliance.
• Operates fleet management system data entry and access.
• Monitors vehicle safety, ramps, handcarts, seat belts and safe lifting practices; attends safety meetings.
• Coordinates tracking of driver information (license status, tickets, accidents, risk data).
• Ensures completion of delivery and driver-related paperwork (invoices, DVIR, DOT logs, reports).
• Maintains trucks, tractors and trailers via post-trip inspections.
• Works with management to minimize operating expenses and optimize routes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
