Alleguard is seeking a Transportation Manager to lead dispatch, fleet utilization, driver supervision, and regulatory compliance. The role ensures transportation planning aligns with customer and operational goals.

You will oversee fleet operations, equipment utilization, and documentation while mentoring staff to improve performance and growth. Join our team driving efficiency and safety in a dynamic environment.

Qualificações

• Comprehensive knowledge of transportation, logistics, dispatch, and fleet operations.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision - self-starter.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Working knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, and transportation safety regulations.
• Graduation from High School; including or supplemented by vocational training.

Responsabilidades

• Oversees and ensures proper transportation planning, dispatching, and scheduling are carried out.
• Monitors and addresses activities to prevent deviations from delivery schedules and customer commitments.
• Ensures compliance with all DOT, FMCSA, company, and safety regulations.
• Coordinates transportation resources, equipment utilization, and driver assignments to maximize efficiency and service levels.
• Oversees fleet inspections, maintenance reporting, and transportation documentation requirements.
• Responsible for the motivation and development of subordinates to optimize their performance and personal growth.
• Oversees routine housekeeping and organization of transportation equipment, vehicles, and yard areas as required.
• Performs any other tasks as may be assigned by the Transportation Manager.
• Assists in related department activities and performs related duties, as required.
