Alleguard is seeking a Transportation Coordinator to manage dispatch, fleet utilization, and driver supervision in a fast-growing, customer-focused environment. You will ensure on-time delivery, optimize routes, and uphold safety and regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates have strong knowledge of transportation operations, leadership experience, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with other departments.

Qualifications

• Understanding of transportation, logistics, dispatch, and fleet operations.
• Proven leadership and people-management abilities.
• Capable of working with minimal supervision and driving results.
• Familiarity with DOT/FMCSA regulations and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee transportation planning, dispatch, and scheduling.
• Monitor adherence to delivery schedules and customer commitments.
• Ensure compliance with DOT, FMCSA, company, and safety rules.
• Coordinate resources, equipment use, and driver assignments for efficiency.
• Oversee fleet inspections, reporting, and documentation.
• Lead and develop subordinates to improve performance.
• Maintain organization of vehicles, equipment, and yards.
