Qualifications

• 1 to 2 plus years of supervisory experience with the High School track.

Responsibilities

• The Transportation Supervisor ensures annual performance goals are met, including on-time dispatches, off-load rate, labor cost and product loss and damage.
• You will ensure a safe working environment by executing company processes successfully.
• Develop the daily operating plan to include equipment maintenance and driver work schedules to meet or exceed delivery needs and resolve problems.
• Provide development to supervisory and driver staff and potentially lead committees such as quality and safety.
• Partner with human resources to ensure appropriate staffing levels throughout the year to maximize employee involvement.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position responsibilities:

• The Transportation Supervisor ensures annual performance goals are met, including on-time dispatches, off-load rate, labor cost and product loss and damage

• You will ensure a safe working environment by executing company processes successfully

• This role assists in developing the daily operating plan to include equipment maintenance and driver work schedules to meet or exceed our customers’ delivery needs as well as promptly solving problems to the maximum satisfaction of our customers

• The Transportation Supervisor will provide development to supervisory and driver staff, and potentially lead various committees, such as quality and safety

• Additionally, you will partner with human resources to ensure appropriate staffing levels throughout the year in order to foster a work environment with maximized employee involvement

• Other duties as assigned
