Job summary

Reyes Holdings is seeking a Transportation Supervisor in Enfield, CT. You will oversee dispatch, ensure on-time deliveries, and manage labor costs while maintaining a safe working environment.

The role involves developing daily operating plans, coordinating equipment maintenance, scheduling drivers, and guiding supervisory and driver staff. Strong communication and math skills are essential; SAP knowledge is a plus. This position offers opportunities for growth within Reyes Holdings.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree with 3 to 4+ years of related experience and 0 to 1+ years of supervisory experience.
• High School Diploma with 5+ years of specific experience and 1 to 2+ years of supervisory experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Transportation Supervisor ensures annual performance goals are met, including on-time dispatches, off-load rate, labor cost and product loss and damage
• You will ensure a safe working environment by executing company processes successfully
• This role assists in developing the daily operating plan to include equipment maintenance and driver work schedules to meet or exceed our customers’ delivery needs as well as promptly solving problems to the maximum satisfaction of our customers
• The Transportation Supervisor will provide development to supervisory and driver staff, and potentially lead various committees, such as quality and safety
• Additionally, you will partner with human resources to ensure appropriate staffing levels throughout the year in order to foster a work environment with maximized employee involvement
• Other duties as assigned
