Job summary

Reyes Holdings is seeking a Transportation Supervisor in Philadelphia to oversee on-time dispatches, scheduling, and safety programs. You will contribute to daily operating plans, drive labor efficiency, and coordinate with human resources to maintain staffing levels aligned with delivery needs.

The role requires an Associate’s degree with substantial supervisory experience or a HS diploma with extensive experience in transportation operations.

Qualifications

• Associate degree with 3–4+ years of related experience and 0–1+ years of supervisory experience, or HS diploma with 5+ years of specific experience and 1–2+ years of supervisory experience.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred for this role.

Responsibilities

• Meet annual performance goals: on-time dispatches, off-load rate, labor cost, and product loss/damage.
• Maintain a safe working environment by following company processes.
• Develop daily operating plans including equipment maintenance and driver schedules to meet customer delivery needs.
• Provide development to supervisory and driver staff and potentially lead committees (quality, safety).
• Coordinate with HR to ensure appropriate staffing levels year-round for optimal employee involvement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Four day work schedule: Either Monday-Thursday or Wednesday-Saturday

Shift: 12:00am - 10:00am

Position responsibilities

• The Transportation Supervisor ensures annual performance goals are met, including on-time dispatches, off-load rate, labor cost and product loss and damage
• You will ensure a safe working environment by executing company processes successfully
• This role assists in developing the daily operating plan to include equipment maintenance and driver work schedules to meet or exceed our customers’ delivery needs as well as promptly solving problems to the maximum satisfaction of our customers
• The Transportation Supervisor will provide development to supervisory and driver staff, and potentially lead various committees, such as quality and safety
• Additionally, you will partner with human resources to ensure appropriate staffing levels throughout the year in order to foster a work environment with maximized employee involvement
• Other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience

• Associate's degree with 3 to 4 plus years of related experience and 0 to 1 plus years of supervisory experience or High School Diploma with 5 plus years of specific experience and 1 to 2 plus years of supervisory experience

• Bachelor’s Degree
