Job summary

Reyes Holdings in Enfield, CT seeks a Transportation Supervisor to drive on-time dispatches, manage labor costs, and safeguard a safe working environment. You will help plan daily operations, schedules, and equipment maintenance to meet customer delivery needs while solving problems promptly.

The role includes developing staff, potentially leading committees on quality and safety, and coordinating with HR for proper staffing to foster engagement and performance.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree with 3–4+ years of related experience or High School Diploma with 5+ years of specific experience

Responsibilities

• The Transportation Supervisor ensures annual performance goals are met, including on-time dispatches, off-load rate, labor cost and product loss and damage
• You will ensure a safe working environment by executing company processes successfully
• This role assists in developing the daily operating plan to include equipment maintenance and driver work schedules to meet or exceed our customers' delivery needs as well as promptly solving problems to the maximum satisfaction of our customers
• The Transportation Supervisor will provide development to supervisory and driver staff, and potentially lead various committees, such as quality and safety
• Additionally, you will partner with human resources to ensure appropriate staffing levels throughout the year in order to foster a work environment with maximized employee involvement
• Other duties as assigned
